The Premium and Modern Choice

Resilience as the Selling Point

Every other finish in this collection is chosen partly for its natural, breathable composition. Diamond Plaster is different. It is a high-strength veneer plaster chosen for raw durability first, with the polished look coming along with it rather than being the whole reason to specify it.

It sets to an abrasion-resistant surface that is difficult to dent, which makes it the finish to reach for when a wall needs to survive daily life rather than just look good on install day.

What It Is

A High-Strength Veneer, Not a Natural Plaster

Diamond Plaster is a white, high-performance veneer finish, harder and more impact-resistant than standard drywall compound or the softer gypsum muds used for a typical skim coat. Unlike the lime and clay finishes elsewhere in this collection, it is not marketed on breathability or natural composition. Its job is strength.

It can be wet-troweled to a high-sheen, near mirror-like polish, or left with a more subtle matte texture, depending on the room.

Applications

Where Durability Matters Most

High-Traffic Hallways and Entryways

The surfaces that take the most daily contact benefit most from the added hardness.

Children's Rooms and Playrooms

Dent resistance matters more here than in almost any other room in the house.

Ceilings and Architectural Details

The high-sheen option reads especially well overhead, where light bounces across the surface.

Integrated Kitchen Walls

A hard, cleanable surface near cooking and prep areas holds up better than a softer decorative plaster.

Not a Wet-Area Finish

Despite its strength, Diamond Plaster is not built to take direct standing water the way tadelakt is. Keep it out of shower interiors.

FAQ

Common Questions

How is Diamond Plaster different from the other finishes here?

Every other finish in this collection is chosen partly for natural composition and breathability. Diamond Plaster is a high-strength veneer chosen mainly for durability. It resists dents and abrasion in a way lime and clay plasters are not designed to.

Can Diamond Plaster go in a shower?

No. Its strength does not make it a wet-area finish. For direct water contact, tadelakt is the right choice.

Is Diamond Plaster glossy or matte?

Either. It can be wet-troweled to a high-sheen, near mirror-like polish, or finished with a more subtle matte texture depending on the room.

What rooms benefit most from Diamond Plaster?

High-traffic hallways, entryways, kids' rooms, and ceilings, anywhere a wall needs to resist dents and abrasion rather than just look good.
